+1 vote for keeping fireworks alive in Costa Mesa. Fireworks are an amazing tool for fundraisers in the community and they are fun fundraisers as well!
Don’t really care for fireworks being legal. Sreets are a mess, scares the animals and some people have to get up the next morning to go to work. Your trapped in your house until it’s over. Wish they weren’t legal.
I never want to be home in Costa Mesa during 4th of July because of fireworks. I went to HB last year and had a blast. American flags everywhere and they closed down PCH for most of the day and then in the evening after fireworks on the pier. I don’t beileve having fireworks legal in CM is a statement of freedom because it takes away freedom from others who would prefer not to have the noise, trash and mayhem. I think having an event at fairview park/esperanza stadium would create much more of a sense of communtiy, something this city in my opinion seriously lacks.
