About

“My family moved out to Costa Mesa when I was 3, moved back to New Jersey when I was 8. My parents missed Costa Mesa so much my dad quit his job and we moved back after a year. My dad took any job he could get and delivered newspapers to support us initially, eventually returning to a warehouse management position in Rancho Cucamongo. I lived in Long Beach for 1 year during college, so I have spent a total of 24 of my 29 years in this city.

I attended Sonora Elementary school, Costa Mesa Jr High and Costa Mesa High School. I didn’t graduate from CMHS because I went to Edison High School in Huntington Beach to join their surf team. I went to OCC and studied with an emphasis on mathematics.

I have a BS in Mathematics which means I am a thinker and a problem solver. Mathematical thinking has its roots in Ancient Greece which led eventually to to logic, law and democracy. The very first thing you learn in mathematics is how to solve a problem and the key first step is to understand that problem. Mathematics also teaches you to understand how all the steps are going to lead to a solution, this gives me strong foresight skills.

My small business experience was under TK of TK’s Froghouse. He taught me how to run a business effectively. I learned how setting up your enterprise for success early leads to smoother running later on. I also learned how to be extremely resourceful and creative with existing resources.

I am currently a high school math teacher that is extremely dedicated to my students. I love that I am helping my students from all walks of life learn to think mathematically, by the way our youth is extremely smart and talented.
