Refreshing

Chris at the Costa Mesa City Council Candidate Forum

Chris at the Costa Mesa City Council Candidate Forum

Chris McEvoy called “refreshing” by Costa Mesa political blogger Geoff West.  Last night Chris and the eight other candidates were able to state their platforms and qualifications as well as field questions from the audience at the Costa Mesa City Council Candidate Forum.  Chris spoke with candor and won over many of the 200 in attendance with his stance on Banning Ranch, development of the old Kona Lanes lot, and development on the Westside.

Candidates’ Forum

Chris will be attending the Candidates’ Forum hosted by the Mesa Verde Community Inc. at the Downtown Community Center this Thursday August 21nd at 6p.m.  This is not just a great way to meet Chris, but also to learn about all the candidates’ positions.   See you there!

A Message from Chris: Basic Platform

As a City Council member I will base all decisions on the following two responsibilities.

1.  How does it benefit/affect the citizens of Costa Mesa for the long term

2.  Is it possible to fit within the budget

I LOVE this city.  I want to protect what we have here.  Our City has many resources such as an industrial area, many business centers and markets, and a diverse population.  As a long time citizen of Costa Mesa I have seen some changes which only benefit a few and I will avoid those and work to provide for the greater good.

Please email me.  I would love to hear from you.

p.s. I will work for the citizens of Costa Mesa and not the special interests.
